Key Open Matches and events that Rugeley shooters are encouraged to compete in. Some are very local (Wolverhampton & Baldwin’s Gate). Others are a little further afield (Appleton, Bisley). The airgun matches include some 2024 dates, reflecting the winter airgun season.
This list is not exhaustive and includes events that are:
- Local to Rugeley/Staffordshire or within about an hour’s drive.
- Nationally significant.
- Other high-quality events which Rugeley members routinely participate in.
There are many other quality events around the country such as the Haig (in Scotland) and matches run by Hampshire which are not included.

Subject to availability, entering a second detail is generally accommodated so you can get two shoots out of the trip (only the first will count for prizes). |
